Music to me is audio emotion. It's like when someone describes something they feel and you realize you connect to it because you feel that way but could never have put words to it. To me, music is the same, and really I find it even more powerful because I can feel connected to music that has a message I do not connect with or subscribe to. To me, music is the ultimate expression of emotion, or more simply, the getting what is inward out. I imagine a ballerina feels the same way about dance, and an artist feels this about painting or sculpting. I'm a musician, and music does the things that speak to the deepest parts of me.

There's a great TED talk by a guy who talks about this in extensive detail. Not sure what his specialty is, but I remember him saying that the first person who will live to be 1000 years old has probably already been born. Can't remember his name, but he's tall and skinny and has a long beard.
EDIT: Quick Google search... his name is Aubrey de Grey

Yeah, I like Three Six Mafia, but I don't call women bitches nor do I condone it. I also have never used or even held a glock, tech, or any other firearm for that matter. Another band I like is Rage Against the Machine. I don't agree at all with them politically and a lot of the messages that are in their music. They are a kick-ass band, and I love listening to their music.
