Me too. He’s the reason I’m willing to watch.

The trailer (and title) did absolutely nothing for me but if the reviews are good I’ll check it out.
This one isn’t exactly glowing:

I think that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Ted will leave and go home to the US. Maybe a new season with him in a new location. But I think they will have a spin off with Roy as the coach in charge of Richmond FC.

It’s comfort food for sure. Goodfellas is the same way, funny enough.

I literally watched it this month. It was so good. Mahershala and Stephen were legendary playing the same roles in three different decades.

It is incredible. Not mincing words but it is really a great capture of America from race relations, celebrity, police brutality, the media; etc. you see how everything was leading to this moment. I cannot recommend it enough.

The movie is well received but I still think it’s underrated. It’s one of the most moving films I’ve ever seen and even thinking about it makes me start to well up.

It’s a great show. The entire family loves it. It’s like a throwback but with a prestige format.

It’s a show with complex emotions and massive payoffs. The situations can be depressing but they lead to outcomes which can be uplifting and inspiring.

It was a great series that I watched ages ago but I still think about often. It really sticks with you.

It’s brilliant. Like you said at first the premise seems like basic but 10 minutes into realizing the actual experience of these people and it’s horrifying. The best season finale I’ve ever seen. Time for a rewatch.

Reply to Question About Enjoying David Lynch Films by MagicMajed123
Very normal. Lynch’s films are the definition of art where there is no right way to interpret it or enjoy it. It’s a canvas of different emotions and feelings.
I can watch Lost Highway today and feel just as affected by it as I did over 20 years ago.
When you watch Mulholland Drive, just understand that it’s like watching a dream. Dream Logic doesn’t make sense but there is some familiarity and comfort in it. It’s hard to explain. Anyways just don’t look for one “meaning” of the story. Even Lynch would tell you that it’s an experience not a mystery to be solved.
