I have worked at 3 different call centers in my life and not once did I ever even SEE the CEO, much less talk to whoever it was.

Someone called me once knowing the CEO's name and asked for him by name. I thought it was another call center rep she spoke to, but then she told me it's the CEO of the company. I told her I don't have his extension, nor do I even know who that is. YOU are the one that told me the CEO's name so how am I going to know how to transfer you to him?

It took me YEARS to realize the point of the song Alice's Restaurant. The hidden message in the song is that he tells the story and says he's REALLY here to talk about the draft, and the things he does to try to make himself undesirable to the military.... But then they find out he was arrested for littering and they wouldn't take him.
The REAL hidden message in the song is if you can get yourself arrested for a minor crime like littering, you can avoid getting drafted. That's the whole hidden message.

Sometimes though, a mechanic may charge a flat labor fee, whatever it is per hour. I wouldn't call a mechanic dishonest if he charges an hour labor, whatever the hourly labor charge is. However, they should tell you up front what the labor charge is
