I definitely agree with this. Doing something that has a positive impact on others can be SO rewarding and fulfilling. I changed careers about 6 years ago and fell into a job that does that and I have never been happier.
One thing you could do is instead of setting a goal specifically focused on yourself, you could make your goal based on helping others. You could get into fundraising for meaningful causes that are important to you. You could get into doing something like being a big sister or big brother if they have that sort of thing where you are and help the kids you volunteer with reach their goals. You could volunteer to be a senior companion to your neighbor, or find out what seniors in your area are alone and could use help with small things like shopping or just a check in and visit from time to time to make sure they're ok.
Of course, if you want something more self focused you could always work at learning a new skill. I've done that as well in the past. I decided I wanted to learn how to play the piano and after some research found out it really wasn't that expensive at all. My local music store rented digital keyboards for about $40 / month and I had in person lessons there for about $25 / 30 mins. Once I had the basics, I downloaded an app called Simply Piano and then continued with that, I think that was $120 for the year.
You could also work at learning another language, Duolingo is free and there are other options for that as well.

To my knowledge didn't Peloton crash because some kids died and Robinhood crashed because they basically hit the panic button for a big bank that was going under due to the gamestop thing?
I feel like both of these were FAFO moments and had nothing to do with the pandemic

I mean, as we speak crime is already at insane heights, and in some cities people are getting their windows smashed and the stuff taken out of their cars while they're paused at a stop light, nevermind the porch pirates running rampant all over the place. If they're willing to take that much of a risk in broad daylight, taking out a drone or 5 in an evenings from the relative safety of some sort of cover would just be a moderately interesting afternoon activity.

Reply to [Text] I need to find a higher paying job, but self doubt makes me feel like I can’t handle any job by thequeasydream
So as others have said everyone has different aptitudes for different things. For example my husband is amazing at anything mechanical. He can build a car from a pile of junk on the ground or figure out the wiring for a complex home theatre system without even batting an eye. However, if you put him in an "intellectual" role or worse, a customer service type role he will fail horribly and likely be fired on his first day because he has no filter and can't deal with the general jerks of the public.
At 26 you are still so young you have your whole life to figure out "what you want to be when you grow up." I'm 50 and I've only just figured that out in the last few years myself. Of course, I definitely don't want you to take as long as I did but, truth be told I didn't even know until I fell into my current career by accident.
You need to figure out what you love in life and then figure out how to make a living wage doing that. Money is important, you need to make enough to thrive in life, but if you make that money at a job that you hate then it can become a soul sucking abyss from which there is no escape and you will hate your life.
