I’ll be the first to say that DC street parking signs are often contradictory and/or entirely illogical, but considering that meter parking is free on Sundays, you must’ve been parked in a strict no-parking area for them to have ticketed you (and twenty others)

I am referring to ALL the people who drive in the district, not just those specifically with DC plates. Half the vehicles in the district have Maryland plates, so yes, Maryland drivers are a large fraction of the larger problem.

Not an opinion when it's the law, dipshit.

DC municipal regulation 2204.3:

"No person shall turn any vehicle to enter a private road or driveway, or otherwise turn a vehicle from a direct course or move right or left upon a roadway without giving an appropriate signal in the manner provided in this chapter if any other traffic may be affected by the movement."

There were some assholes protesting outside the Ritz Carlton with a megaphone the other day…at 8 in the morning. The protestors were of African descent, so I wonder if that’s related to what the other commenter was saying.

Edit: “assholes” because the use of a megaphone immediately adjacent to the hotel, apartments, and offices is obnoxious and completely unnecessary.
