Get some liquid wrench or other product and let it sit on there for a day. then spray again and let sit for a day... until it works. Oh heat if you can heat up the nut without damaging whats around it.

You can give it a go if you'd like too. Drywall is one of those things that is easy to do but is a true art to get it done right. If you want to give it ago it won't cost much but will take some time and rework to get it to the quality of those new stairs. A dry wall crew will get it done on the first pass and it would look great.

Looking at the picture again, you could cover the area with a nice piece of wood that matches closley to the stairs and floor. This might be alot easer DIY wise.

you need a dry wall crew to clean that up.

You could rent a pipe/drain camera that has a locator built into the head. Or pay a plumping company to do the same.

Drilling a hole in a steel beam (or wooden beam for that matter) in the right spot will not effect the strength of the beam. That said, OP should not drill through this one.

Are you a renter? Don't mess with that, find another place to do pull ups.

Yep, first step is cleaning then replacing the thermocouple. Try shining it up with some fine grit sand paper and position it just a little closer to the flame. If that does not work pick up a new one.

I think I'd call up one of your local insulation companies and ask for guidance. I'm guessing you'll be good, but moisture is a serious issue and getting your layers wrong can cause problems.
minesskiier t1_ix9klom wrote
The sweating and rotting would come about because a moisture barrier is blocking moisture from escaping. It's got nothing to do with the Kingspan. Feel free to add as many as you need or want. Do you live in a humid environment ? In Colorado, I'd never worry about is as I live in a very dry environment .

It works a lot of the times. Focus the heat on the nut without heating the bolt. Your counting on thermal energy expansion here to break the bond so heating the nut makes it get bigger as long as the bolt does not get to hot and expand too.
