China needs the war over quickly and sanctions removed to get Russia back on track. The longer the war drags on, the more problematic this becomes for China.

Here's how credible reputable media outlets found Hersh's story- he had to self publish. In media world that means no one wants to touch a single anonymously sourced story with no corroborating evidence that accuses the United States of an act of sabotage.
