Well you see houses used to be owned by local people who had to work in the local economy. Resources were limited and they had nothing to prove. Now that people flush with cash who work remotely are flooding into backwater towns, i’m sure the dated designs that offend your modern sensibilities will be fixed soon enough.

If you need top notch healthcare you have two real options:

  1. Live within driving distance of Boston (Mass General, Brigham, Beth Israel etc). These are world class research institutions fed by Harvard Medical School.

  2. Live near Lebanon for Dartmouth. This is the only academic hospital in NH. If you have anything rare or complicated and can’t be near Boston this is where you want to be.

Central Massachusetts or the suburbs west of Boston will check off everything on your list. There are tons of trails, friendly people, and opportunities to socialize. NH is a lonely place (search this sub for “how do i meet people” and you’ll see). If you generally want to be left alone in the woods NH is awesome though

Trouble is that the weighting is subjective, and the results are potentially misleading. A much more useful tool would feature what the candidates themselves have said on each issue. We get to decide how that overlaps with our own beliefs. This spoon fed “answer 5 questions and here is your candidate” nonsense will do more harm than good.

Your matrix is a joke. According to this Liz Cheney and Donald Trump equally overlap my views yet she has voted against many of Trumps policies. You give me a 23% overlap with Bernie Sanders but i wouldn’t vote for him even if he was the only candidate on the ballot. I’ve never heard a single policy of his i agree with. And no i’m not signing up for your election reminders, i can find the publicly listed information just fine on my own thanks
