I worked for ten years for another hospital system, and though we obviously had arguments in the ER, we had almost as many incidents on the Mother Baby/Delivery floor. Ridiculous stuff. Three times when I was on duty, we had a baby daddy with two different baby mamas in the hospital at the same time. And the baby mama families would fight each other over the piece of crap baby daddy. I never understood why the two families didn’t join the same team and fight the daddy instead. It’s a crazy world.

I get it and sometimes have the same issue. I bought a boot stretcher on amazon that does the trick. My main problem is the height of the top of my foot- but you can stretch that to fit. I love them. Super comfortable once you get them right and they last forever with good care.

Speaking from experience, it is very hard work after a divorce. I’ve been divorced for about six years now, and still have things pop up now and then with my sons. My advice would be to try very hard not to speak ill of your ex in front of your son, and do the shit talking with friends privately instead. Some days I bite my tongue harder than others, some days I fail, but the effort is worth it for your son’s sake. Wishing you so much good luck as you navigate this new normal with your son. He’s lucky to have a responsible parent looking out for him!

I didn’t do any traditional shopping, but I finally took a few things back to the Amazon Hub that have been sitting in my trunk for weeks. While I was out, I went by goodwill to browse. I found a pair of Frye boots in my size that are fabulous. I have the same pair in black and love them. Now I have brown. I can’t wait to wear them. Merry Christmas to me!

Agreed on the grocery store folks. But can we just be nice to everyone who shows up for work when we are all understaffed? I get yelled at daily for the most trivial stuff. We’re trying to help you so maybe be just a touch patient. Thank you!

I only have a two mile commute, thankfully. I’m looking forward to seeing the trick-or-treaters tonight and also munching on the baked spaghetti I made for tonight’s dinner.

I didn’t sleep well, which is a long time problem for me. But I’m up and moving and headed into work soon. Hoping for a good day today.
