You can get an Iris kit for less than $150 bucks :D

I'm using a textured PEI sheet, so the texture is quite comfortable in my opinion. If you wanted smooth you csn always use a smooth surface to print them on.

I built my Iris this past weekend using SA Mitospeed keycaps and Kiwi switches. The 3D printed case was a bit too tall for my liking so I decided to design and print some Godspeed themed custom wrist rests to go along with it :)

Pretty pleased with the end result!

I uploaded the wrist rests STLs here, in case anyone is interested.
