More like they are smart enough to know that overthrowing a government doesn't mean better times.
Same with the chinese people.
The people that think tearing down a government leads to good times are the people so spoiled they should never consider tearing down their government.

America was very lucky, it became the greatest country in modern history, but it could have easily turned out like the French Revolution(s).
It also had the second amendment added which was a pretty important piece here.
