It probably wasnt a message from god but I can't convince you otherwise if you're religious and believe that. It could have been anything, a car exhaust popping, a squirrel landing on your roof after jumping off a tree, someone throwing something at your house, could have even been something random like ice from an airplane or a tiny meteorite lmao.
