Hey! Actually the post inspired me to put in a 311. Its on Madison Avenue just west of MLK, blocking the westbound lane.

Saw a knocked over light pole west of midtown. A bunch of downed branches off northern parkway but not causing any road problems.

It would have been nice if they said that that was what they were protesting so people knew that. At one point they said they were advocating for DC statehood - which is great, but why protest there? - so I’m not sure they had a cohesive plan. As a neighbor in a mostly residential neighborhood they gave no indication of that and it was just a nuisance while trying to get work done.

Don’t park in zoned spots unless you have a pass. Parking enforcement is going all out this year. If a spot seems too good to be true then it’s not a real spot.
