Town meeting is on Monday to discuss the ballot items. Voting is by ballot in Tuesday. Town is too large to do any effective voting at a town meeting.

Our town has a town meeting, but also Australian ballot. Town meeting is in the evening. I do wish they'd move out to the weekend, just like I wish they'd move election day.

Yep. I paid $7.69 for a dozen Grade A Large brown eggs last night. The white ones were $7.99. Usually the brown ones are more expensive.

It all depends on what you do for a living and where/how you want to live. Healthcare, government, and teaching jobs are plentiful. They're giving incentives to remote workers. Rural areas are cheaper than Chittenden County, but Essex is cheaper than Burlington, so it's all relative. As far as crime goes, I used to live in San Francisco, so to hear people in Burlington complain about "urban crime" makes me LOL.

As someone who had had to clean out two houses after the death of someone and decide where and to whom everything goes, I encourage you to name a responsible party and tell them what they should do.

City Market in Burlington does a lot of classes. Check their website. They publish around the 10th of the month and they sell out fast.
