I honestly don't understand how a minimum wage increase wouldn't just lead to rental price increase?
Like... if you make more money, people/companies are just going to charge more money for the same things aren't they? Not being combative, but honestly never really understood how increasing minimum wage doesn't just lead to more expensive product.

Yea? How is that working out for them?
They are far more dependent on Oil and Natural Gas than they were 20 years ago before the green party destroyed their nuclear power.
There is no energy future without nuclear getting us there first. Vermont produced LESS carbon before Vermont Yankee was closed, so we went YEARS backwards because Shumlin was an idiot.

Would rent control follow inflation? I could see that working. Rents are only allowed to rise in step with inflation.
