They have so much content that weekly episodes would make the most sense. If you have 3 shows tons of people are watching and loving, that's 3 days a week for 9-12 weeks people are tuning in.

Multi-episode dumps, even if it's split in two sets, still allow people to sub, binge and cancel.

Station Eleven is my favorite of the year. Though technically it started mid December 2021. I loooved Andor and agree every episode was quality and highly recommend it. But Station Eleven for me was just a whole other level of experience. When I see the series as I'm browsing HBO's app, I get a wave of a mix of melancholy and nostalgia that happens when I watch something that affected me in a good but deep way. I know this probably sounds super pretentious and stupid and I'll likely get downvoted. But I don't know. Maybe someone else understands what I'm trying to say cause it happens to them to. The Leftovers was similar, but to a much lesser extent. We The Animals is a movie that had this effect on me too if anyone else has seen it.

Not sure what terminal it stops at, but the Q3 goes to JFK, and it's like a 15 minute ride from JFK to the locust manor lirr stop. Bus stop name is west gate, iirc, and it's the stop right after the laundromat on your right. It an above ground LIRR station so you'll also see the trestle overhead to know the stop. Locust manor to forest hills is like a 12 minute trip.

One we as a nation are not willing to address. Cause to keep the current healthcare system would require high taxes to pay for the cost of treatment for addicts who have no means or healthcare. Americans don't like taxes.

And to overall the healthcare system so it's not so expensive or difficult to get consistent treatment would require corporations lose their stronghold on an industry that's been a goose that lays platinum eggs. And not only will corporations not do that, American people will fight on the corporations' behalf as well.

>but the overarching problem will always be discomfort and sexualization of male intimacy in our culture.

My perspective is that of a gay woman who in past shows would, for my own entertainment, decide I'm gonna pretend these two characters are together (biggest example that comes to mind is ADA Cabot and detective Olivia Benson in SVU).

One of the reasons I would read into interactions what is or isn't there is because back in the day there were not a lot of options to see a genuine lesbian relationship on my TV. The level of closeness and intimacy that you see all the time portrayed between a man+woman wasn't something queer audiences got to experience often if at all. So when you'd find a show that portrays a relationship that seems deeper than a typical friendship portrayal, you get a bit excited. And you assign this additional context to the scene.

So I would say it's not just a discomfort but sometimes a response to something you don't get a lot of but would like to. So when you see hints of it, you latch on. And often what you're reading into the scenes is not what's happening. But then sometimes it feels like it's exactly what they want you to think even if it's not what's happening. Hence the queer baiting label.

Not gonna lie, I can't get into a show where I think everyone in the cast is unattractive. I don't need CW level model casting. But I need at least one person whose face I enjoy watching on my tv. And heavy accents is a turnoff when the accent is clearly fake.

I also don't like when they do a filter on the screen. Like the original CSI had this dark gloomy look no matter the scene. And I don't like quirky where they put that 'playful, silly scene' music in the background.

>The most searched neighborhoods in Queens are some of the most affordable.

Id like to know what the writer's bar for affordable crossing over into unaffordable is. Cause numbers 1, 2 and 4 are not affordable for a solo person looking for a 1B who doesn't make six figures or more.

>When the conservatives on this sub start demanding that cops like these be held accountable, then I’ll start believing their complaints against people being released after 50 arrests are being made in good faith.

4 hours in and this post only has 7 comments as I'm writing this.

If it was a ny post article talking about nyc crime, there'd be dozens of comments complaining about that very same thing you cite. They don't care about cops like this. Cause they probably think cops like this are "on their side."

I just liked the unknown. In reality it's usually an out, but when a pitcher gets a hit is exciting. Trying to figure out if the manager will pull the pitcher cause he's dealing but the team's down 1 run in the 7th and the pitcher is batting 2nd next inning. I miss bunts being a more regular part of the game.

DeGrom's magical first half in 2021 before he got injured included his batting .400. We'll never see that again.

They're a Met fan. As am I and my first and only time going to Yankee stadium was the new one as a guest of someone who got comped tickets behind home plate. Otherwise I would still be at 0 for visits there. AL baseball always feels boring to me. For a long time it was the DH. Now it's just a carryover feeling.
