Is this supposed to be impressive? This person obviously has more money than sense.

Show me a collection of 100 Nes games and I'd be more interested.

Also next time maybe iron the sheets you hang in the background.

No not really.

I may be leaning more towards Xbox this console gen but that's down to the way Sony have been behaving towards their customer base in general since the PS4 became dominant. I actually own every gen of Xbox and PS, plus pretty much every other major console released from the early 80's onwards.

My RGB modded NES is actually my super fave console, closely followed by the Gamecube and SNES... (I do have a soft spot for my PC Engine and also the 3do too) So if anything I'm a Nintendo fan whose very disappointed by their current broken offering. Even piracy being super duper easy with the Switch doesn't save it.

That debatable about the Switch, underpowered at release and every Joycon develops drift. I have 6 sets of Joycons that all drift so I don't use the Switch anymore at all. I also feel its Nintendos worst console ever. Hopefully the Switch 2 or whatever comes next will sort the drift issues. I also kind of hope for a full on home console from Nintendo next time, no more hybrid shit.

PS5 is probably a very good console, I will take your word for it. My PS5 has never been out of the delivery carton it arrived in. Its just to big for the TV stand, maybe one day they will release that one game that makes me really want to open it up and play.

Those two games are more popular on PS because of the exclusive DLC, early access etc that Sony paid for many times over and over. Go back to the 360 days and that was THE place to play COD because MS had the early DLC etc. Only difference is MS only locked DLC away for around 30 days or so, Sony signs these things up for as long as the developers will allow. Sometimes upto a year.

That alone makes the fact that Sony are throwing all their toys out the pram about the possible merger even more outrageous. :)

PS3 was the last time I ever played a PS game online.

I only signed in to PSN on PS4 a handful of times when I first it, then it was put away in the loft until the jailbreaks came around. After that I had no need for PSN anymore :)

Xbox Live has always been a superior service, mainly due to the fact that MS have been doing it longer and well, ya know, they are a company that's been into networking and the internet for a LOOOONG time.

If Sony ever launch a sub service that actually competes with Gamepass then i might be tempted to crack open the PS5 and sign up.

As i said to the other guy, you're lucky then. Its well documented that its an actual issue with the Joycons, I believe there was even a class action lawsuit about it. Nintendo even admitted it and offered to fix them free of charge, in the US.

Be wary of stick drift. I have 6 sets of Joycons that ALL have drift. The Switch is now stuffed in storage because of this and no longer gets used. I have a hackable launch model and not even the lure of free games etc can overcome the shitty build quality of the controllers.

Worst. Nintendo. Console. Ever.

My PC actually cost waaaaaaaaaay more than I've ever paid for any console!!

I could actually buy another Series X and 15 years of Gamepass Ultimate for approx the same money.

If I remember right the GPU alone cost twice as much as a Series X or PS5.

I think your salty that your parents never bought you a console :) /s
