I’m not disagreeing with you, I think I just have a different perspective because I’m interested in a premium product/service. At any rate I hope NH can legalize so we can capitalize on lost revenue from such late market entry. Cheers.

I am doubtful this plan will work well in NH. People I talk to about dispensaries care about the product and service they provide. ME has a whole heap of quality dispensaries mere minutes from the NH seacoast, some with their own white labeled top-quality bud that sells for $35 1/8oz before volume discounts. I don’t see NH being able to siphon enough traffic by competing on price nor quality.
I could be wrong, and would be pleasantly surprised if that is the case.

I think you are conflating arguments. My comment exchange with curious_buffalo was not in reference to the tiny homes mentioned in the original article. Furthermore, the relevance to the main topic doesn’t really matter in the end, this is Reddit after all.
I’m sorry I gave you the impression that all trailer parks and communities are predatory, as that was not the intent of my comment.

Yeah I did. You didn’t specify the land/lease agreement parameters in the post I responded to, so narrowing the argument to only include scenarios where the land is owned by an individual feels slightly disingenuous.
Recent or not, its happening now and that removes support from the argument that trailer parks are a source of affordable house (you can toss your asterisk here and say YMMV and the like)

Trailer parks can be predatory as fuck and have the habit of making poor people even more poor
e: removing implication that all parks are predatory

No, it won’t. Cannabis isn’t liquor where the product is the same across states and the differentiator is price. Maine has some of the best bud in New England right now and NH is too far behind to compete with their market cap.

Maybe because people don’t feel cops should receive the benefit of the doubt? Seems like cops earned that lack of trust on their own merit.

Do you see the irony in recommending that a US citizen needs to hold public office to influence public laws?

Reply to comment by Rare_Message_7204 in Newcomers to New Hampshire and Maine continue to drive population growth: More people are dying than being born, so population growth depends on people moving in from elsewhere by TurretLauncher
Fun facts:
- Since 1952, NHs population has grown every year except one (1991)
- The population has more than doubled in the last 60 years: 1962: 632,000; 2021: 1,388,992
Now the question becomes, keeping the historical growth data in mind, why do you see this trend posing a threat to the state’s beauty? Perhaps a follow up might be, why do you think the state has remained beautiful despite the steady growth over the past 60+ years?
Edit: Adding my source
