Worcester has pockets of great and super sketch that touch boundaries. A few blocks in each direction of any of the major colleges touches both types.

I mean, this is Worcester county not city of Worcester. So could be up in Westminster or down in Paxton. None of those communities could feasibly be converted to walking only.
Historically I think they did stuff on rt 20 on the line to Shrewsbury last time they did one of these. I believe they also did 140 in sterling.

Durham as a company was the worst bussing experience every year I had to deal with them. Glad they got the boot really, not sure if WPS is best suited to do it themselves, but hope they did their diligence of in-house vs competitive bid.
It also seems there is significant wiggle room in the wording of the idle-reduction clauses at the federal and state level, so I suspect we'll see little to no material impact to the company.

We had to pay $150 per foot of frontage and it became a public way. That process was years long.

Associated with any of the engineering colleges? They used to stock a decent supply of parts but only unless you were a student/staff. It wasn’t for the general public.

As an alum- the campus has grown significantly but has maintained their reputation and I’ve had good luck hiring graduates to know their stuff still.
It is a hard school in so far as a higher than average burn out rate, you have plenty of room to fail. If you ask for help you will get it but they won’t chase you to make you get help.

Battery ones don’t perform as well and last all of 20 minutes between charges if you’re lucky. That’s like using a broom instead of a rake.

Depends on what you need really. Each hospital has stuff they excel at. Major trauma? UMass by the lake. having a baby? UMass by the police station. Having specialist care? st. Vs. general ER? Probably St. V unless you can wait for a day in the waiting room if you wouldn’t be a priority case.

Two reputations really. Either really great or the most terrible place. Seems to depend on which sales person you wind up with, but little to no middle ground.
