Also in bioinformatics, I think it depends on your company tbh. Pre-demic at my old company, we expected to be on-site and seldom WFH. Some of my coworkers were commuting 4 hours a day. My current gig is hybrid, with coworkers on-site as often as they choose to. Most of us are in 2-3 days a week. Another place I interviewed at recently is requiring minimum 3 days on-site. No harm in asking in your interview about the culture. Some companies are really stodgy about requiring on-site time for silly reasons (team cohesion, insurance/liability etc...), while others are cool.

Also live on Mission Hill with a pristine driving record. My early 2010s sedans are about $1100-$1400/6mo with Progressive on their cheapest plan. Might switch to Geico after these comments though

I often see honeycomb tripe and pork trotter at H Mart and 99 Ranch Market, and a few times at Market Basket. I haven't had too many problems finding dried chiles and hominy at most supermarkets or corner stores.

I got mine at Union Pharmacy in Newton Center. It was a walk-in, but you can pre-register online with your info. It's a small independent pharmacy, so there might be a little bit of a wait.

Ugh, it's only been cable news and click-baity 5-minute life/food hacks on facebook. I'm going insane. They're so boring.

Suggestions for things to do for seniors in Boston? I have parents staying for a while who I am worried are getting bored (and on my case). They don't have serious mobility issues, but aren't interested in museums, music, casinos, restaurants or the outdoors. I'm running out of apple orchards and farmers markets. Please help.

Sure, but I like asking at the interview to know beforehand to clarify whatever rules they have around it, and mostly to gauge how stringent/enforced it is, and to see if there's room to negotiate it.
