Don't mean to hijack the post, OP has a great question, but their question made me want to ask something similar: salt, like let's say sodium chloride, from what I understand it dissociates into it's consituent ions when in water. Like it becomes free Na and Cl just floating around in water right? Would that mean if you saw free Na and free Cl ions swimming around, and they're not bonding, you could assume it's a liquid or no?

The whole gulf coast is beautiful and worth the drive. Mobile, Alabama and Biloxi, Mississippi are great parts of that road trip. Can't speak for the parts of those states that don't touch the coastline.

If by thought of running a cyclist over you mean, "omg I almost hit this person" because they're riding on a very hilly two lane highway and you can't see them past the hills or they can't keep a straight line and veer into the road when you get to a good point to pass them. I don't think of hitting people but cyclists seem to enjoy playing road roulette.

Yes, they do have room to bring the charges down. He needs to make his case though. I visited the ER one time because the local emergent care wasn't open at 2 am. They charged me about 6k at first. When a lady from the hospital called so I could set up financing with them, I told her I would've suffered instead of coming in had I known it would cost so much. She knocked my bill down to 4k after that. Not much but it's something. (My visit only needed topical lidocaine, $800 by itself from the ER btw).
