You can trade in an iPhone in person. If you return it I would assume that they would credit you the amount you paid and not return the phone you traded in.

14 and 13 are basically the same phone, minus autofocus in the front camera, crash detection, and two gigs of RAM. I would personally recommend the 13 at the price that they are right now.

Apple doesn't take trade-ins on their new-gen phones. You would have to sell it on eBay or Swappa or on some other site.

13 and 12 Pro Max have similar levels of battery life, from what I've heard. The bigger screen is nice, but if you were coming from an SE, I would probably recommend the 13 for the smaller size.

At a 300-400 dollar difference, I don't think the 13 Pro Max would be worth it. I was recently in this dilemma, and I ended up picking the 12 Pro Max, as they are very similar phones with 5G and whatnot.

I was recently in this same boat, and upgraded from an 8 Plus to a 12 Pro Max. The 12 series are still very capable phones, and I would recommend any of those over the 11 Pro.

I don't personally find the Pro Max too big, but different people with different people prefer different size phones. I would try to find someone with the Pro Max and hold it and see if it's too big for you.

If you want a small one, you'll be fine with the Mini. I hesitate to recommend the 11 at this stage in its life, but it is still a fine phone for most people.

Either wait or buy the 14 Pro used.

In Japan and Korea, to my understanding, the shutter sound is always on whether the phone is on silent or not to stop people from taking unwanted pictures. The shutter sound on an American iPhone is only there on ringer mode.
