Yeah they’re all processed, they are IR so they assign visible colors to different IR wavelengths I assume

You wont find a lease for 3mos anywhere near that price, most places are minimum 1yr. You can however find basements/attics/in-law suites for that, and those folks are more likely to accept short term stays. Try apartments.com or airbnb.

The answer is the same as it always is on threads about this lander: it takes more money and adds risk, and most importantly it already surpassed its design life by 2x so the solar panels already did their job. If they didn’t want it to lose charging power via dust they would’ve powered it via nuclear (like curiosity and perseverance). NASA knows solar panels will get dusty and less to slow death (Spirit, Opportunity rovers).

DC has such worse drivers than anything outside the beltway. I ventured on 295 and was literally astonished that people use the shoulders as normal lanes quite regularly.
