One word: Accountability. If it was something seriously inappropriate (like when someone on the police union FB page posted a meme of the mayor with a Hitler mustache - yes, that actually happened) I would want to make sure that it was actually addressed instead of being deleted and swept under the proverbial rug.

Seconded. Even if OP can't find exactly what they're looking for, there are likely plenty of local woodworkers selling *other stuff on Etsy who would be happy to take a commission.

Elm st is pretty central, so take your pick. As far as safety goes, people will always complain about anecdotes but based on hard facts we're one of the safest citiesin the nation. You'll be close to Elm Park and a bunch of restaurants on Park Ave, not far from downtown or the Worcester Art Museum either.

Yes, but you're missing out on so much else. If you want to do literally anything else - grocery shopping, culture, nightlife, restaurants - have fun spending just as much time in the car as you do at the event. Add to that a regular commute for work, from an area that doesn't have sufficient highway access. And don't forget less reliable public services (including snowplows).

There are folks that hate "city life" and love being self-reliant and set apart from the rest of the world. I am not one of those people.
