We had a similar one growing up in the 80s, my dad cut a hole in the side and installed an on/off switch. My parents still have and uses it. I had to buy one at good will, no better popcorn.

Reply to Kent comb snapped, but only after 5+ years of daily moderate use. It's been my edc for hair and long beard and has survived the laundry many times and also being a fidget as well. Sad to lose it, but genuinely pleased and will buy another. by kitty-committee

I have a Kent as well, I don't use it daily, I don't have enough hair. I use it when trimming my beard. The quality is great, the teeth never catch on the hair like the cheap one I had would.
