It's still new-ish and on a stretch of the parkway that has hotels and office building towers. So you have commuter and traveler crowd. The only time I've been in there was to stop in for a beer after going to the Barnes with my sister who lives out of town.

I understand wanting to to be with other folks to enjoy the energy and atmosphere but gd I am stressed looking at this. I'm just gonna watch and drink at home.

The stream commentary has been painful to listen to. And, yes, trying to find a marching order/schedule online has been a fruitless endeavor.

So noon for string bands, maybe? Not sure how many comic brigades there are.

Looks like comics are up after Wenches. And then string bands.

Make sure the window washer fluid in your car is rated for -20 or -30 °F. Decent ice scraper for your car is also a must have.

Reply to Are there any places to camp? by stupidjesse
French Creek is the nearest PA state park with tent/RV camping sites. There are KOA sites at Clarksboro, NJ and West Chester, PA. I think Mercer County Parks around Princeton has a few camp sites. As well as Wharton State Forest in NJ. I'm sure there are a bunch of private campgrounds that I don't know about that you can probably find online. But closest state park camping is probably a 45 min + drive out of the city.

Reply to comment by 99centstalepretzel in Striking Temple University graduate students overwhelming vote down proposed contract by diatriose
I was a graduate student in chemistry 10 years ago at a much smaller university and department in the Philly area and my TA stipend was ~$21K. It's absurd to me that that is what Temple offers. Also, just dug through my email for other places I had applied to at the time and those stipends were all in the mid-20s basically a decade ago. They don't really have an excuse especially if they actually want to maintain decent graduate programs.
