So apparently, from what ive heard it was a building permit to build something where the old gas station was and the town council said no so he put that up. I honestly thought it was a portsmouth vs middletown highschool rivalry thing for the longest time since it kinda looks like a teenager put it up

If you're in or around newport it's probably a servants kitchen. There's lots of those, they used them for parties and stuff so they could cook without being seen but it'd have to be an old fancy house for that

Funny enough for newport at least, you can pretty much go anywhere and they're usually the same thing because they mostly come from the same places. Don't sleep on the lobster bar raw bar plus you get a view. It's more of a price thing at that point so I'd add benjamins and lobster bar to that list just because they'll be around the same price if not cheaper

Edit: forgot kampanaars, they're more clam bake but still solid

You can try one of the satellite dmvs like in middletown or Wakefield but idk if they'll be able to do all of it. You may have to go to the Cranston dmv which is horrendous to take care of most of it.

If you go to newport fastnet will have some games on during the day. At night you probably won't have them but that's a soccer bar over there

There's a string of rental properties down on lower thames by the gas station maybe check there. Idk how large they are but they've got multiple full houses so maybe you'll get lucky. Besides that I'd say maybe the hotels in the area like the viking or the one above surf club or the new one that popped up at hammets wharf and just try to get a block deal, a lot of them do it for wedding parties so I'm sure they could do the same for this, plus Thanksgiving tends to be on the slower side for newport because it's more a family kind of thing over traveling so you might get lucky

From my experience working restaurants around ri is that ric grads tend to get fucked over a lot. Like the degree is a degree but it isn't a good networking thing like jwu or uri can be for certain majors. It's not a bad school but you have to do your own networking for a job out of it and if you don't it's essentially useless

Honestly if you go to newport and talk to bartenders a lot of them play golf. Some guy set up a bartenders open where most of the bars will make groups of 4 to come in and do a scramble tournament with lots of drinking. You'd have to make friends with them first but it's like 20 bars that are part of this and I'm sure they'd take you out on other days if you befriend them and teach you.

This is not the winter to really compare to tbh. I surf and I usually stop after Halloween because it's too cold but we've been mid 50s or 60s with a couple low 70s days in November and it's never like this. Layer is the best option until like February and it's just cold as shit and you need the wool stuff out
