To be fair, how much valid criticism of feminism gets mixed in with foaming at the mouth misogyny on the internet. I can’t remember the last time I read a valid critique of feminism, and toxic femininity that didn’t end up next to way past the line of decency red-pill takes. The internet is a confusing mess.

I both agree and disagree, but im too inebriated to flesh my position. I think raise really good point but stop short of the effect the people building the dataset have on the outcome of the results.

We can see our bias, we often don’t admit to it. We can also build highly objective datasets, nothing is perfect bias is a scale. My argument is effectively that the bias we code into system as living participants is much worse than bias coded into an ai that was built from altruistic intention. Every day a human making a decision can exercise a wildly differing gradients of bias, an ai will be consistent.

I swear to god im like an Ai apocalypse Televangelist. I tell people what is possible already and how quickly this shit is moving forward. I tell people to think about it and start getting ready for the future. Largely ignored, minor interest at best.

On some level I think people know something is coming, Its just not real for most people yet. If AI is images of sci robots to you then yea you can imagine it but meh, but when you crack into the code and hardware I feel like you realize a few holes in knowledge, and general ML competency is all that is standing between humans and a phase change in human society.

We can do it, hybrid is just difficult to fine tune, and fully automated would be expensive while having lots of public resistance.

No one has enough access to enough roadway to really iron out the bugs, and simple devices that give the ais better information to make decisions would have to become standard accessories on vehicles and miles of highway.

I think this stuff is going get rolled in a new wave a tech products, we’re mapping the brain this century, hooking devices into the human nervous system on a level we’ve never seen before. Thoughts to control robots, even fleets of robots. Sure there will be tons of use cases for AI.
