Whatever position it was stuck in probably resulted in a lot of stress.

You or the next guy, there's likely no way to avoid an explosion. However OP, while this wasn't a FU, your lack of PPE certainly was, and you're lucky not to be in the ER with a shard embedded in your foot

If you have tools out, then safety goggles and shoes are the bare minimum imo. Don't be the guy who lets his overconfidence get in the way of the fact that accidents can and will happen to everyone

What I meant was: all people are neurodiverse to some degree. We all have traits that would be considered signs of autism, but some people have more than others or are impacted more by them, and that's when it gets diagnosed as a disorder.

Autism is not a clearly defined genetic or physical trait; the line we draw to say someone has it is artificial. Autism being a complex disorder almost necessarily means some factors will occur in nearly all people. There's like hundreds of genes that relate to it

What, like the diversity of humans within the autism spectrum? We're all technically at some point within it.

Yes, there are "weird" people and also people who were raised in a very secluded environment. But there's also just people who exhibit many symptoms which make ASD a very understandable explanation to anyone who knows what having autism is like

OP, I hate to break it to you, but this is exactly what people with autism were described as before ASD became a diagnosis. And it's nothing to be ashamed of, this is a funny story and I'm sure your dad was a lovable guy.

Actually OP, you probably avoided the worst of it. With scams, having the foresight to only lose $1500 is a lot better than getting pilfered for everything.

In the future, realize that links sent over email are not secure. If you can get to a page through google, you probably should, and also obviously don't put bank account details into anything you didn't organize yourself.

If it makes you feel any better, scammers are usually miserable people, some of them actually wake up to that fact and flip the script on the business, there's actually a fair few content creators (especially in India) who were formerly working at scam centers and now try to expose the industry. Look up scam call vids, they're pretty fun to watch.

Not a TIFU. This is a today your boss fucked up.

You don't have to do anything except point out that management decided not to give other coworkers the same bonus and everybody should fight to get what they deserve. In this situation, you don't have to be enemies at all, just say you feel bad and will help where you can to make sure everybody sees the unfair payment schemes

In the future, don't assume everybody makes the same amount, but do use that as a reason to know as much as possible about what they do make. It's the best way to stay competitive and know your worth. If you don't make as much as people who provide less, start looking for another job.

These two sentences don't mesh. You may not have seen it then, and even now, but a healthy 22 year old isn't prowling sophomore lunch hour

>She said given her age she doesn’t want to formally diagnose her just yet but given her dad who has BPD..she thinks something it could of been passed down to her or it’s trauma Induced behavior.

Quite likely, so don't blame yourself for it happening. All things considered, you caught it early and are doing well to provide support. Sometimes it is the case that we are predisposed to mental health problems, and more often than not we get hit hard in our teens or 20s and have a struggle recovering or just managing to survive. You're doing fine and I believe you'll make the right choices

Please do yourself a favor and invest in some heavy duty gloves. It's much better to fish something out of a clogged toilet than to have that toilet overflow and spew sewage

Being a dumb kid at one point in my life, I've learned not to flush random objects. Thankfully I learned this with a clean and empty toilet
