I was talking to a friend about bedbugs and describing how I thought they acted.

They corrected me about their behavior, something like "They actually can move a lot faster than you described". I was like: "what makes you such an expert on bedbugs?". My friend admitted they had had bedbugs in their apartment like a year ago but didn't tell anyone about it.

I had been to their place a few times and they'd had parties there. I did wonder if I had known if I had gone over there.

Contrary to all scientific evidence, a lot of people have decided they have had 'enough' and have just dived into the deep dark waters of denial rather than continue to mask up.

I have really learned a lot about human nature from this pandemic and much of it is just depressing.
