I was going to recommend these as well, got the chunky heel pair over 5 years ago, still going strong with conditioning every 6 months
Edited to add, you can definitely use a shoe cream to darken the brown, mine have darkened anyway over the years. I ended up getting another pair of flat chelsea boots, iron rangers and the oxfords as well. All superb quality and with recraftable soles.
