It's called "Ride Systems", and somehow it worked...kind of.

This is awesome… I’ve been using a separate app for years!

I bought my house and closed on it three weeks before that snow storm hit. It was the one and only time I’ve lost power in the seven years I’ve lived in this part of Baltimore

Not to split hairs, but fares are $2 per ride now, hasn't been $1.40 for years, like maybe like 8 years lol

I get what you’re saying. I think there is a threshold of ridership that can be used to justify transit but I don’t think that it’s the only thing that should be used to justify transit — whether keeping existing or building new infrastructure

Prior to Covid I worked in Harbor East and I knew at least a few of my colleagues who took the subway and got off at shot tower… anecdotal I know but I think a lot of what we’re seeing is effects of the pandemic

I've lived in Baltimore for 12 years but from Ohio. I think the thing in Ohio is that you have to know where to look. There are some fantastic things, and Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, have some awesome parts to them. The politics, though, SUCK.

Reply to Did we get taken advantage of for Maryland car inspection as out of staters? by redspacecraft
I've been through this twice. Once, I got the car inspected, it failed, I got the repairs done, the guy who inspected it disappeared, had to get it inspected again, it failed IN DIFFERENT WAYS, had to pay another large sum of money to repair OTHER things, and then it was legal. All in the inspections and repairs cost me about $2K, which at the time was a crap ton of money that I had to use all my savings for.
I've lived here for years now and this is the only thing that I personally have experienced that's terrible, and I've said it a long time now and it's definitely a racket. There are ... some shady things going on with it. Some people or parts of the process are certainly on the up-and-up, but it'll screw you every time.
Sorry you went through this.
