Reply to The fight to succeed Darrell Clarke as Philly City Council president has already started: ‘It’s pandemonium’ by nayrb1523
Crazy idea - what if Rebecca Rhynhart bailed from the mayor's race (as progressive and amazing as she would be as mayor - the fact that other candidates have "name recognition" being ex-council AND the unions are throwing their weight behind others doesn't give me hope that she'll make it through the primaries (and I say this as an independent who unfortunately can't vote in the primaries))
And instead she landed one of the open-council seats vacated by the prospective mayor candidates...then somehow got the votes needed to be council president (letting the currently fighting group split the votes, and she'll pick up the majority). In some ways imagine how much more effective she could be as council president in regards to getting policy into effect and manage spending. Let her council term run and a few years later with more name recognition be a mayoral front-runner.

Also the four digit key-code (8-0-0-8) to unlock the lactation pod, hopefully brings a smile to the juvenile sense of humor deep within.

I would've assumed the beer/wine at Acme, and the fresh meats/produce would at the very least put them ahead of Wawa.
PS: some of the prepared foods at the supermarkets are decent...I'd happily take a Giant/Acme pre-made hoagie over the travesty that Wawa hoagies have become

Interesting to see that Wawa does more in sales than Acme does. (survey removes gasoline sales). Also surprised to see Target (which had its grocery-only sales count) outrank Wegmans

If you don't mind slogging through the raw data rather than a map - the city provides a data set:

https://icaphila.org/ would like to have a word with you:-)
But I get it, there's no stand-alone public museum that actively collects (the ICA is really more of a glorified/curated gallery experience). The PMA is getting better as folks make donations. Speaking of donations, it'll be interesting to see what happens with the big 3 contemporary collectors in the area. The Sachs has indicated they will give much to the PMA...but if you drive by their house they still have Oldenburgs and a Robert Indiana Love Statue just sitting on their lawn. If you're lucky enough to visit SEI Investments the West family has items tucked away in vacant space - they were going to open a place in Fishtown, but I think the pandemic killed that idea. And who knows what John Middleton plans to do (sell it all off to make another Phillies post-season run?).

Yes its about 1% (1.8 million Turnpike transactions out of a total of 169 million transactions in 2020 for example) - but I wouldn't say its "negligible" the turnpike comission itself showed this was $104 million uncollected - https://apnews.com/article/lifestyle-technology-laws-only-on-ap-carlisle-a2c9f6845ef5d8e1ce53f7a533ce0733
