I was gonna say this. Flashing brights means “your brights are on” while turning lights off and on I understand to be the signal to say your lights are off.

I’m speculating but I’d imagine the upward mobility out of a Boston office would be better than Stamford, assuming this is a long(ish) term gig.

Blizzaks are awesome. I have a Prius and can’t imagine a worse car for snow but with the blizzaks I was fully mobile.

That’s curious. I love the one on black rock - except for the falafel! They also tend to overcook the meat. But the baba ghanoush is the BOMB as are the aceli ezma (sp?), the pita,the rice and bulgur, and the people.

15 years ago NH was absolutely 1000x worse than now. Yale made a conscious effort to buy up lots of the slums, rehab the homes, and then offer them at good rates to staff and profs to encourage a middle class. It has worked. New Haven now has not only a solid middle class of residents but nice restaurants and other services that have moved in to serve them. I think your understanding of the effect Yale has had and continues to have on New Haven is misplaced.
