Reply to I make 42k and I work from home 4 out of 5 days a week. I signed a 60k offer onsite 23 miles there and back 45 min, 45 min back. Does this make any sense? by RemarkableCell1859
I went from a commute that was 9 feet down my hallway to my office, to a commute of 45 minutes each way to an on-site position.
The ONLY reason this has worked is because my commute is against traffic. I wouldn’t do 15 minutes in a bumper to bumper crawl.

There is a biomedical waste processing facility about 45 minutes from my house. The stench from that place is astounding.

It looks more than photorealistic. Almost like a 3D render. Holy smokes!

I believe OP is trying to describe seeing what is on the other side of the sun, at any given time, from the vantage point of earth.
To essentially see “through” the sun to observe what an earth bound viewer can never see.

At Home Depot they have clear adhesive bumpers for exactly this kind of thing. They are like squashed half domes. Just put them on the top corners of the backside of the mirror. Problem solved.

Drill a small hole just above ground level to let any water out. Then cap it to keep more rain from getting in.

I somehow stabbed myself in the meaty part between the thumb and forefinger with a pencil when I was about 10 or so. The lead broke off deep in my hand.
For some reason, nobody ever did anything about getting it out, and my hand eventually healed over it. It’s still there to this day, decades later and you can faintly see it.
And before the comments start… it’s not actually lead; it’s graphite. My body never showed any sign of infection or rejection. It’s just there…

Did you photoshop the dick out of the hand of the person on the left side? Because… well, it looks like…
Never mind.

I’m not going to say that I was “today years old” when I learned why the end of the tape moves like that, but I will admit that I was “embarrassingly old and should have known better” years old when I did.
