I fell off from romance and when i got a relationship, i bought romance fiction, then when we broke up till now.. i have no desire to return to romance books

I have a book gifted for Christmas in 2020, i haven't gotten to it yet. Nothing against the gifter, i have books bought myself in 2020 i have not gotten to it yet either

I did that once years ago, ended up with a romance book which i didn't enjoy cause i couldn't relate. It was something about jumping back in time and has a lot of American culture and themes from the past, right down to the details.

Now that my taste in book has changed to thriller, i might try another blind date
