I have one. I don't use it because it doesn't have an insert key, and I use the insert key all day.
Other than that, I LOVE my Tactile Pro.

Since Jonny Ive left, it has gotten better. I have the new 16" MacBook Pro, and it undid a lot of Jonny Ive's sins. I held off on buying a new MacBook Pro until Apple got rid of that horrible butterfly keyboard.
I actually went into the Apple store a half dozen times ready to buy a new MacBook Pro and sat down in front of a MacBook Pro and would type on one and nope out of the store because the idea of typing on that God-awful keyboard for the next 5 years was just unthinkable.
Took Apple till 2021 to do it. But they finally did it.

I have a 1986 IBM Model M that works great. And an Apple chicklet USB keyboard that I had to throw out after about 3 years.
Now I use this:

40 years old and still works great.

That is bullshit. I've used rubber domes louder than Brown switches. People need to get over themselves. You get some guy complaining about brown switches in your office. Meanwhile, I use a Model M and nobody gives a shit.
You should have brought in a Beamspring keyboard with the solenoid on.
Keyboard noise complaints are complete bullshit.
if you're that worried about as user, buy a Matias Quiet Click. It's quieter than a rubber dome keyboard.

The guy at the office most likely to complain about how loud your keyboards is, is the dick that will take all their conference calls on speaker phone while pacing around at their desk.
Back when I went into the office, I brought in a Model M. I got zero complaints. I was only in 2 days a week. Whenever I would come in, I found people were using my desk when I was not in, because they liked my keyboard and mouse better.

With a drone!
I'm 6' 3". I just stood by the edge of my table and held my phone up as high as possible and took a picture and cropped it.

I bought a ton of different balls during the pandemic. Got them all used at a decent price. I tend to rotate between them.
I prefer using a finger ball over a thumb ball.
After doing this for over a year, I REALLY don't like using a mouse any more.

I try so hard to use a TKL, and after just a few days I miss the numpad.

That's a shame. This is actually a really good discussion that deserves it's own thread.

For what I use it for, it's stable.
All the VIA comparable features are 100% stable. The macros work very well also.
I haven't been able to get tapdance to work yet, but that may be my fault and the VIAL's fault.
