One of my favorite stories about Baltimore is about a lady named Ann Doda. She lived in Locust Point and led the fight for five years to change the original plan of an I-95 bridge that would cut through Locust Point and over Fort McHenry. Thanks to her, Locust Point was saved and we have a tunnel system instead. There’s a memorial to her and her husband in Latrobe Park.
