Which athletic socks were you using? The DT athletic socks are the only ones I wear (Element No Show Tab Light Cushion). I sized up one size (XL when L was recommended) and they work great.

That's nice that they replaced without mailing. Unfortunately this is really easy to take advantage of so I don't see this policy being kept long term.

Pro tip: Keep them together stacked instead of rolled together. Darn tough recommend this as well. Helps it keep its elastic-ness.

Get an aluminum free deodorant. The stains are from the reaction between your deodorant sweat and the laundry detergent.

I have the element no show tab versions, have you tried those? I was looking at longer socks but wasn't sure they'd be as comfy.

I like the Element no show tab athletic socks. I did have to size up to XL, based off their size range I would have been a large (size 11/11.5).

Most places will have you return the item. Otherwise anyone could just claim their product is broken and keep getting new ones.
