Google started winning in the browser space because early chrome and it's v8 rendering engine was soooooo much faster then the competition. By 2010, web programs got much more complex and Javascript more essential, so speeding that up made everything much better. Additionally, Google's dominance in search meant that it was easy for people to find about and try it out. It got better and better, while IE was stagnant. It is likely that the EU's regulations had minimal impact on on the adoption of Chrome

Energy sources are generally considered valid military targets. Since they are used by both civilians and military forces they can be targeted. While there have been war crimes committed by Russia, these are attacks are not and acting like any attack is a war crime / terrorism diminishes their meaning.

Reply to comment by Choice_Improvement34 in We're assured that qualifications are essential, but none of the very richest people got their wealth from theirs by pufballcat
No. They both started their businesses without any real qualifications in college, and then grew that business without finishing their qualification. I think op is wrong, qualifications and the skills you learn gaining them is valuable. For every Elon musk or prince Harry, there are 10,000 Susan from accountings who, because of their degree, have a much better life than then would have otherwise.
