If he’s a seafood fan, Matunuck Oyster Bar certainly fits, and while it’s busy year round and gets mobbed in the summer, its location makes it a relatively laid back experience this time of year.
If you can convince him on a night in town, New Rivers, Gracie’s and Oberlin in Providence do strive for farm-to-fork dining, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
