This is literally why I wrote him off, and never considered him.
He seems to have 5 press conferences a day.
We're still one of the safest big cities in the country. But the politics of fear always gets us a "law and order" asshat.

Your language tells me you're not a lawyer.
Damages are awarded for your asserted claims.
Your obviously don't know what loss of consortium means.
Any half decent PI lawyer will draft a complaint that would look like the plaintiff got hit by a train, for a simple trip and fall.
I worked in the City Parts. Tens of thousands of cases are filed against the City every year.

You're obviously not a PI lawyer, or you're lying.
Scraped knees is a personal injury. If op is married, the spouse can be joined as a plaintiff, for loss of consortium. That's just for starters.
@60 Centre there used to be a Transit Part just for lawsuits against the MTA.
OP: take pics of any bruises, and file a police report in the precinct where this occurred.
