There are only 3 ways to deal with stress:-

  1. Remove it
  2. Remove yourself from it
  3. Learn to live with it.

Number 3 is hardest, diet, exercise, meditation, hobbies, medication talking to a Councillor/friend/family all can help in the short term... 1. or 2. are longterm answers.

You only get one life, and if possible you should be happy in it. Do what you and your wife want to do. Work stress is a killer... if you'd stayed it would probably be you having a breakdown or whatever. Good luck I hope things work out for you both.
