Iron Giant is a deeply underrated movie that I need to watch again—I don’t think I realized it was set in Maine though. Neat!

We went to Royal River for our anniversary last year and are going to The Danforth this year (yay December anniversaries!), which has a steak on the menu my husband is interested in. I’ve already been and had the swordfish which was, frankly, life changing. Worth looking at the menu there too especially if you like cocktails.

I like both Royal River and the Grill Room.

I do but I’m from away and my husband thinks it’s funny.

I taught at a community college in Ohio before moving here and tried my hardest to get something, anything at a CC around here and nothin’
I had a friend tell me that a lot of the adjunct positions at CCs in Maine are taken by retired professors, often from prestigious universities, who move to Maine and decided they’d like to teach a bit still. I don’t know how true that actually is but it seems plausible.
