Call Richardson’s Rescue. They are in Mechanicsville but they are great. If you are willing to foster the baby, the organization will set up and pay for the spay/neuter, the vet and even food if you need that help. They’ll do all the interviews and vetting for the new owners so all you really do is take care of the baby. She’ll come to you if that’s helpful and she’s really great. Frank and to the point but really great. They also have options if you don’t want to foster the kitten. And if you find someone here who wants the kitten, the organization can do the vetting process and make sure it’s a good fit, you just give them her contact after she’s done the like initial paperwork/phone call.

Liberty Mills is about an hour away. It’s huge and amazing. They have three different mazes that all interconnect and each one has a little activity if you want to do it. The corn is taller than you so it’s a real maze which is cool. Near tons of wineries if you’re in to that.
