First thing I did when I got the phone was watch a bunch of YouTube videos of settings to change in iOS 16 to find what I wanted to change. There’s a lot of privacy settings and background refresh kills battery.

And preserve settings for camera in settings. If you have it off the camera ratio will change back to the default every time you reopen it and you would have to readjust it.

Also check your phone for if reduce white point is on. It makes all the whites darker and harder to see in the sun. I saw some people on Reddit complaining about their phones not being as bright in iOS 16 and that was it. I got a used 13 pro and I doubt it’s on for 14s.

Shazam has a free 4 months of Apple Music, you can set reminders for every day at a certain time, holding down on space bar moves the cursor wherever in text, you have to click the box above words for it to not autocorrect, at least that’s most of the important stuff I found when I switched.
