Dang, wow. I can see that it sucks, but it could have been so much worse for here. Falling trees are terrifying.

You are astute. Not that it matters but
-
this was my long weekend and the only opportunity I get to have daylight. I don’t see daylight during the week at home.
-
the tree incident was/is pretty traumatizing to my family, so trying to move past this and kick starting Christmas early after thanksgiving but before Dec 1 makes everyone happy, so be it.
I’m not going to downvote you, you are welcome to your opinion.

Not sure if I have any pictures, but at our old house I curled up the extension cords a way behind him so at the right angle his shadow on the house looked like he was taking a shit.

Yeah, they got warm, don't they? My understanding of electrical, especially high voltage electrical is limited, but I think stepping down voltage turns excess energy into heat?

Quit being obtuse. I can see it’s on the lawn. I can also see it’s far forward of their house, which is a very bizarre and quite frankly shitty place to put your dog’s house. Typical lot the road is right there, hence “basically on the street”. If they feel this is an appropriate spot for a dog house they probably shouldn’t have a dog.

Well I have no idea why anyone would think it’s okay to put their dogs house basically on the street like this. Weird people.

I’m not sure this is a dog house. This looks like this might be an electrical transformer box that someone made a decorative slip-over cover. This is a weird spot for a dog house and it has a concrete base. This is a normal spot for transformers to go through, near the street and the edge of lots to avoid being in the way but easily serviceable by the power company.
