US is heaven if you are a high-income earner. It is hell if you are poor or bottom earner.
So your income decides whether usa is great or not.

Reply to Driverless cars and electric cars being displayed as the pinnacle of future transportation engineering is just… wrong. Car-based infrastructure is inefficient, bad for the environment and we already have better technologies in other fields that could help more. An in depth analysis by mocha_sweetheart
I agree. US suburbs are abomination. Every activity in usa requires a freaking car ride. It is not friendly to elders. It is not friendly to children. Everyone has to learn to drive. Whoever designed these cities are bought by car lobby.
Livable cities should be dense and walkable. It is efficient. It is people friendly.

Humans migrating into digital reality will never happen. It is a cool aid.
More likely scenario, humans will live as they do now but with more tools and technologies in their hand.
There will never be any collapse.

Life will be fantastic. People will have everything at their disposal. They will live long lives, may be 150-200 years due to medical advancements. Most of everything will have been automated. It is like you are taken care of by the society cradle to grave.
