My roommate was recently yelled at, pushed and spat on by a large man before getting onto the T in central. Was wondering is that fit the description?

First off OP, glad you’re okay and that everyone else is okay.

Second - No one was hurt, your insurance should be able to deal with it. As the other folks said - make sure to get the police case number and expect calls from your insurance company. You are not obligated to talk to the other persons insurance company. It’s highly recommended that you don’t, that case is settle between the insurance companies.

I understand that this is an extremely stressful time and you feel sorry for your actions. However in the future, please be extremely careful about what you say after an accident because it will be used against you by the other persons insurance company.

They definitely ran my plates when I applied for a permit to check if I had outstanding tickets. They don’t usually call the police department because that isn’t usually handle by the police department but by the traffic department and the RMV.

And about the officer coming to bang on the door - that’s definitely happened to me - but because I missed the no parking sign that was put up the day before for moving vans and tree work. They’re usually pretty nice about it. They’re really doing you a solid because the towing is so expensive and Phil’s towing is just god awful.

These two incidences aren’t abnormal. They probably just occurred to close in time that you may have perceived it as such
