Every step you take, every move you make…I’ll be watching you. That’s a stalker.

Another song about a stalker, or at least desperate/futile/unrequited love: Cake’s “The Distance.” There’s one guy still on the track, driving and striving as fast as he can, thinking of someone for whom he still burns…she’s hoping in time that her memories will fade…

EDIT - okay, to everyone downvoting me, what’s the song actually about then? It isn’t just about a race, it’s absolutely a metaphor, but for what?

Honestly, agreed. I’m decent at digital illustration and trying to visualize how to create this in vector software (that doesn’t rip off thousands of artists to produce its stuff).

OP, this piece honestly looks delightful! But please consider avoiding this exploitative medium in the future.

I go planewatching at PIT and listen to the approach/departure and tower feeds. I really need to check out AGC sometime too.

But sometimes I’ll open FlightRadar24, look for a really busy airport (ATL, JFK, LAX, NRT (Tokyo)), and listen to the controllers work their magic.

Thank you so much for this incredible explanation! It makes perfect sense. I wasn’t trying to criticize - the controller sounded confused as well. But of course small airports/airfields would have slightly different operating parameters for situations like this, and these snow squalls have been sudden and severe.

Do you work at AGC, or are you a private or hobbyist pilot? I’d love to start taking flying lessons, and I’m kind of considering a career change since airlines are looking for FAs and/or pilots…
